About Us
BlockVault was born from a simple yet powerful idea:
True financial freedom exists only when control is in the hands of the individual.
For years, the crypto ecosystem promised decentralization, but many solutions ended up replicating the same centralized models of the traditional system: custodians, intermediaries, and external dependencies that limit user sovereignty. BlockVault emerges to break that paradigm.
Origin
In September 2023, two friends and crypto enthusiasts decided to turn vision into action. They shared a common concern: the lack of a truly independent self-custody app, a dApp that doesn’t rely on banks, governments, or regulations, but solely on each person’s responsibility and freedom. This is how BlockVault began: with the goal of creating a platform where the user is the sole owner and responsible for their digital assets, whether cryptocurrencies, NFTs, RWAs, or other assets of the new digital world.
